Good, if a bit predictable

I liked this book in the series. It was a little predictable at the end, and the bad guys still seem to know too much, but it’s not unbelievable for a group that spent years (or decades) preparing what they did. The book also seemed a bit short, but maybe I’ve just been listening to too many 25+ hours audio books (Robert Jordan’s, fault I think :)

No Damien, No Peace

Kidding. Overall this is a good book, up to the series’ and the reader’s high standards for quality but the lack of the main viewpoint character is kinda annoying. I don’t hate Chambers or the spy ship, but that’s not what I come here for. Add on some of the points where I felt the author was purposefully padding the narrative out to extend the life of the book series and it’s a very meh part of the series.

excellent book with a great narrator. Glynn has done his homework for space navy design and space combat.

Awesome new book by Glynn Stewart, incredible story, great characters, I can't wait for the next book!

Rosalyn finally gets to shine

It could be a hint more bombastic, but we finally get to see Rosalyn in action. This book has an element of SA, but she never loses power in the situation and the issue doesn't drag down the story for those sensitive to it.

More Please!

Always an exciting story! I am eagerly waiting for more! I hope there will be more of Montgomery in future story lines!

Not the story I expected

The major plot events of this book were a type I generally dislike. However, they were handled beautifully

Jeffrey Kafer is an outstanding narrator.

Omg I loved this book. Glynn Stewart when is Starship Mage 10 coming out? I couldn't put this book down.

Have to save up for the next one

Well done. Got me hooked and I had stayed hooked. Needed more of the main protagonist but still well done
