A Must Read!

Incredibly well thought out and systematic playbook for success! Should be required reading for everyone.

Great book.

This is a great book. Hopefully people read or listen and actually take action. Not just read for the sake of reading. Use these methods and move onto a better life.

Good Book

I enjoyed this book very much. A book every leader, or every person who aspires to lead, should read. I believe military leaders really bring a lot to the table when it comes the the topic of leadership.

The Foundation

I recently started the process of choosing and training for what I believe will be my lifetime career and this is a book I reference internally or in conversions daily. It is on par if not greater in message and quality with the most popular leadership books/trainings in popular media and the world. Its basis is forged in the fire of real-life crisis and chaos and has honed into clean concise lessons with the saved rounds mentality. This book helped to shape me as a young man into the kind of person that serves my co-workers, peers, community, and my own family.

I truly believe I would not be the person I am today without the guidance The Program book and The Program Team provided me. “Do your Job” clearly defined my outlook from the concept in my mind, to a clear cut phrase. The individual guidance I was given by one team member of leveling up every aspect of myself equally, to perform at the highest level in everything I do, has made me an asset instead of a liability.

This book taught me that leadership is both a gift and a burden. We will not always be liked as a leader. We will not always be friends with our teams as a leader. However, we will always be respected for our leadership and respect for others; we will always be appreciated for our knowledge and ability; we will always be the standard and exceed it to show others what can be done.

I am sad to see this leaving Audible on 10/30/2024. I listen to this book regularly to learn more and remind myself who I need to be for those around me and for myself.

Outstanding book. Outstanding message. Outstanding organization.

Love the book. I wish that it would go into greater detail on some things. But overall a great read or listen.

Can’t believe the quality for being free, Excellent!

Nothing terribly original, but the last couple hours are a great summary of a lot of content. Incredibly time effective content! I would give it 3-4 stars if I used a credit for it, but being free it’s an awesome value!

Useful ideas in bite-size pieces

The concept of this book is similar to other books in the same genre. Despite my having completed a dozen other books like this, I was still able to glean original and useful information from it. The stories broke things up and allow the reader to gain insight at a more digestible rate. I didn’t gain a lot from the themselves (as much as a straightforward content the authors explained) though they probably provide important examples for many people. I would recommend it to the same audience that it is marketed to: teams, coaches, employers, etc..

Advanced Leadership

With a leadership background, I found a lot of familiar information. I did however find some enlightening gems. It had some repetitive moments, however, within the progression it became evident that it was on purpose. Nothing can be repeated enough that is not sufficiently learned. Reinforcement. You won't be disappointed and definitely worth your time. You will never stop learning and you can always be better.

Loved this book.

This book was an easy recipe of what to do and how to do it. It being lead and follow. I especially liked how they described the definition of Kind vs. Nice.
