Resumen del Editor

How would you like to experience your life? It's an intriguing question, and yet we've been conditioned to believe our life visions and goals are often unattainable - until now. With The Possibility Principle, psychotherapist Mel Schwartz offers a revolutionary approach to living the life we choose.

Though science has vastly expanded our knowledge, it has also led us to adopt a worldview where we see ourselves as insignificant specks living in a mechanical universe. Now, insights from quantum physics reveal that our universe is, in fact, a vibrantly intelligent reality and that each of us plays a vital role in shaping it. In this groundbreaking book, Schwartz shows us how to integrate this new quantum worldview into our everyday lives, allowing us to transcend our limitations and open to infinite possibilities.

The Possibility Principle reveals how we can apply the three core tenets of quantum physics - inseparability, uncertainty, and potentiality - to live the life we choose, free from the wounds of our past and the constraints of our old beliefs. You can learn to:

  • Develop a mastery of your thinking as you free yourself from the replication of old thought patterns
  • Utilize the concept of wave collapse to realize that you are not imprisoned by your genes, brain chemistry, or past traumas
  • Overcome anxiety and depression through a shift of mind
  • Thrive in resilient relationships and develop powerful communication skills that foster empowerment and intimate connection
  • Embrace uncertainty to ride the waves of personal change

Life-changer.

To say this book changed my life is an understatement. I’ve never read any book in this genre so helpful and immediately applicable in a way that addressed the problem, not just a symptom of the problem. It’s changed everything about the way I approach the world and, above all else, my own thoughts. I’m now experiencing a much higher level of joy, peace, and connectedness. Must read!

Interesting enough to listen twice

Where does The Possibility Principle rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book is easier than most to listen to and the ideas give much food for thought but are easy to understand.

What did you like best about this story?

The author correlates quantum physics to a person's existence to provide the scientific basis for this correlation. You can deny everything except the possibilities.

The Next Step

I started a personal journey when I discovered the book "The Secret", however my analytical and tendencies always desired more explanation. I also found the book "The Magic of Thinking Big", which a step in the right direction. The Possibility Principle is a book the teaches manifesting your desire but through a scope of universal and interpersonal connectedness.

Absolutely wonderful. Great narrator.

This is a golden nugget. It’s not filled with fluff and filler or tedious stories. I’ve already listened to many of the chapters twice. Great read for the intelligent and discerning reader who isn’t in the mood to hear someone trail off on stories or ideas that add little value. This is book is damn good; it is poignant, incredibly well spoken, well put together, and highly engaging. I’ll listen to it again and again. Fantastic narrative as well. This is all coming from someone who returns 3/4 of the audible books because they lack any substantive or unique quality. Trust me, this is a keeper.

Revelatory

I heard Mel on a podcast and thought ‘This bloke might be into something’. I immediately bought the book.

The first listen was a quantum experience in itself and within two days I had listened to it twice and had begun putting some of its lessons into practice with immediate results.

Thanks, Mel. Great stuff!

so much to say, so little inspirarion

not sure where to begin, so here is a bullet point summary of my impressions..

Pros:
*lots of great, useful perspectives on relationships and communication. These are concentrated in the later chapters.
* A valiant attempt at marrying quantum theory with our daily lives, in a way accessible to all.

the big Con:
* I will be generous and say that he mostly "fesses-up" near the end, when he acknowledges his own repeated use of "to be" verbs. Though not explained (unless I missed a page) his repeated 'newtonian' language is understandable. After all, he is trying to connect to an audience mired in newtonian dogma/perception. However...

A core concept of the book is that we should avoid "either-or" or "black and white" thinking, saying we need to recognize the flow of reality, and abandon or mechanistic view. Excuse me, but that IS 'either-or' thinking.

See Bohemian Mechanics (the de Broglie-Bohm therom) of the mid 20th century: it is not "wave collapsing into particle " it's more like "equation describing both wave and particle, observed as particle." Just as he properly states many times: ' not either/or, but both'... well, that's my crazy 2cents.

Either way, a really good, thought-provoking read.
