Wow that was so good!

One massive twist after another with incredible writing and really good character development. At first I wanted more from the characters, depth, moral compass (if there was any), just more. Then as the story starts to reveal it’s many many secrets it’s easy to understand why the characters true identities are only then disclosed. The book is a great mystery throwing so many into the who could be the murderer role. The ending is tense and ominous but ultimately answers all the looming questions as to why the bride and groom were murdered. Definitely enjoyed listening to this book!

The narrator was excellent portraying the voices for the characters and added to the author’s incredible writing!!

Good but felt a little mislead

So the writing and story are well put together. However I was a little let down by the intro. It’s not much of a spoiler cuz it’s in the synopsis but the murder happens immediately.

I was kinda looking forward to meeting the suspects first and observing the wedding drama. But no the murder happens first thing and then the suspects are introduced.

Also not entirely sure why the characters were Indian and such a big deal was made about it being a big Indian wedding. I’m not very familiar with them and was looking forward to seeing all the wedding traditions. There are no wedding type scenes. It wasn’t really apart of the plot. It takes place in South America and has the Cartel involved. It would have made more sense if the family was just a very rich south American family. That would make the cartel plot less random.

Despite these criticisms, the plot is solid and the story good. I just felt a little misled by the tittle and synopsis. It’s still a good story just don’t go in expecting a wedding or Bollywood murder mystery.
