90 percent of this book was trying to figure out what was going on, who did what and why, and 10 percent was a mix of HAVING to know what happened, and a moment of oh that happened... it's a short listen... but this would have been a better short story rather than book. Longest carried ever.
Not a huge fan of this piece, but the ending had me like whoa.

Lack of character development.
Lack of character development. I wasn’t really invested in any of the characters. Kind of a predictable read. Super slow. Didn’t pick up until chapter 15 by that time I wasn’t surprised with outcomes.

The worst narrator I’ve ever heard
This book was way overhyped on TikTok. I was expecting a fast paced psychological thriller, laced with mystery and excitement. Instead I got a slow and predictable story narrated by the worst narrator I’ve ever heard. How this got the green light to be put on audible is beyond me. The narrator mispronounces words and places, uses pauses where they don’t make sense, is very unclear at times. I am so disappointed in this book. Save your credits and listen to literally anything else.

Drawn out - unexpected - ish ending
I was not a fan of this one. The details in the story were drown out and the ending was thrown together. Despite it being a shorter novel the added details seemed to drag on forever. I had hopes, not my fave.
