2 to 3 hours in I had to stop.
I couldn't get through this book; it was so frustrating. While the narrator was tolerable, the storyline itself was incredibly annoying. I ended up ditching it in favor of diving into a psychology textbook.

So Disappointed
I'm in shock. I Loved The List. This was ridiculous. I think the author was on drugs when he wrote this. The narration was awful. This is either a bad story with a ok narrator Or was it a ok story with a bad narrator. I think that they were both bad.

Why all the hate?
I just logged into my account to give this book a 2nd listen and saw the 3 star rating. Yikes. Well I love all books Konrath. if youve listened to or read the previous 8 novels then theres no reason you wouldnt find this rediculously amusing. On the otherhand if this is your 1st or 2nd Konrath listen, Id recommend starting with Book 1, then go ahead and give Book 2 a try. If that does it for you, 3 would be the next logical step. This is book 10. Most can be read as stand alone, but theres soo many cross over characters in the last few books you may find yourself lost or not caring about specfic plot pieces, without reading the others.
