fun and entertaining

I began the story liking the leaf lady then, I was tired of her but, later I once again liked her.
The narrator was great.

A little slow in places, but good story

As always, the author is very good. There were a couple of places that I just had to forward because it was getting to be too much detail. The narrator is always is superb and it makes such a difference to the audience when there is an exceptional narrator that delivers a great story in an engaging manner to the audience.

Heartwarming and Humorous

Kristin Higgins is my new favorite author. Her books are angsty, funny, true to life, great characters , and all around fabulous.

Enjoyable and sad too

I wanted to shake the main character many times and wish the main character’s mom would have a book too

Oh my heart

Such a well done widow love story. It was exactly what I wanted. A lot of grief and pain and stumbling but such tenderness and love too. Mercy. I’m gonna have a book hangover for days after this.
