They don’t need to be best friends—Winnie just wants a place where she’s not being side-eyed, and Lorenzo needs someone to take care of the details in his very busy life (and maybe soften his sharp edges). Except they recognize something in each other…a sense of not quite fitting in, not quite being seen. After all, Winnie’s the fourth daughter in a family of five kids, and Lorenzo spent his childhood at a school for gifted children, away from his parents and siblings.
Over the next three months, Winnie will bring some much-needed humanity to Lorenzo’s life, and Lorenzo will help Winnie see all she has to offer the world. And of course, they’ll fall in love.
