Being one of the guys isn't all it's cracked up to be. So when journalist Chastity O'Neill returns to her hometown, she decides it's time to start working on some of those feminine wiles. While doing a story on local heroes, she meets a hunky doctor, and things start to look up. Great narration

Xe Sands performs this so well. Good male voices and such a lovely, soothing voice.

The story itself is cute and sweet along with enough drama to create a story. A few touching tears. My only real objection is that it's written in the first person which I find tiresome. But overall, worth a listen.

Thanks for the escape

I love the good hearted stories by Kristan. It makes me feel good to read and I lose myself in the stories. It has just enough romance. And I love XE Sands performance. I feel like she’s a friend and I would recognize her if I heard her in a restaurant. Thanks for giving me an escape from stresses of life on my drive to and from work! Love you guys

laughed and cried

I loved the chase seen my stomach hurt from laughing so much. I scared my husband when he saw me crying. loved it so much.

Different

So creative and unpredictable! I love that you can’t predict what’s going to happen in her books! I also appreciate that there’s no explicit sex scenes.

Very cute

I really enjoyed this book! It is a darling love story with some really fun and unique characters. I loved the many different characters, each with their own love story woven through the main one. Nice clean romance novel that leaves you feel warm and fuzzy. I wish there would have been more about the HEA, there was only 5 minutes left of the book by the time they finally got together, I needed more of their “true love” and happiness at finally declaring their love. Great narration!

This has to be one of the best books I have ever listened to. I laughed, cried, and was swept away by the amazing characters.

I always enjoy reading Kristan Higgans books. She always sneaks in a few good laughs and her characters are all so relatable.
