Brilliant book, outstanding performance

I heard about this book from Dax Shepard while listening to Dr. Dunne on his podcast, Armchair Expert. I had high expectations for this book but reading it exceeded my expectations. Super insightful book and what an enjoyable read too! I read the hardcover and also listened to the audiobook. I learned so much and loved the writing style. Remarkable book, highly recommended. The performance of the narrator is outstanding.

Instant classic. Incredible

The author delivered on every count. The argument throughout is rock solid and eye-opening. The writing is just exquisite. The depth of research is phenomenal. So many engaging anecdotes. So many clever metaphors. This is a breakthrough book on the topic of neurodiversity and its role in society. And a game-changing guide for organizational leaders, as well as parents of neurodivergent kids -- like me -- in terms of understanding what the future holds. I would also say that I have been an audible subscriber for over two decades with hundreds of audiobooks in my library. And the narration for this book is genuinely one of the best performances I have ever heard. Clearly, Nan is talented and deeply cared about this topic and this book, and she knocks it completely out of the park. Five stars on every level!

Woke

As a neurodivergent human; I find this book offensive and full of woke victimhood endorsements.

My guess is that majority of people like me don’t care to have people like you creating a victim mentality/environment on their behalf.

It’s insulting.

Forcing/shaming corporations (people) to engage in woke ideology is sick and wrong.

It works counter to what you believe you are accomplishing.

My personal journey from front-line contributor to COO of a multiple billion dollar corporation didn’t require special accommodation- it required acknowledgment of skills and gaps.

And it was on me to adapt.

Please have the decency to donate the profit you made from me to a less woke neurodivergent cause.
