Woman looking for missing brother with the help of an alien ex prince who ends up being her mate. It sounds like a good story, but I just couldn't finish it due to the male narrator. He sounds like he should be hosting an episode of unsolved mysteries. I just couldn't get into the story with him.

no character building

when your 10 chapters in and 10000 things have happened but you dont know the characters,....IDK seems like someone put "alien romance,mystery" into AI and posted the results

very different in a not so good way

I really tried with this book I really really tried the narrators can only do so much the story was no the story was no that's what it was and the female character was a walking hazard seriously she seems like she wanted help to find her brother but throughout the entire book she's trying to basically solo it and the private investigator who is working her case pro bono is pretty much saving her throughout the whole book and not looking for her brother not really because he's so busy saving her from these dangerous situations I thought private eyes are supposed to investigate but she was not allowing that to happen I loved the brothers and they didn't even show up a lot in the book but when they did show up they were pretty much telling their brother to let her go and I agree with that because my gosh mate or no mate she's not worth it
