Loved it, but Mav disappointed me

I was so excited for Maverick’s story after meeting him in book one. I adore Aria so much and felt all the pain she did going through the story with her. While by the end I did fall for Maverick, for me somethings I just couldn’t get over. The things he said to her in his truck…yes he apologized, but as a woman that shit was so reprehensible. Personally I couldn’t let it go. The other thing, the deal he made with her sister and the stuff Aria overheard. He never came clean to her that he INITIALLY INTENDED to do all of that and felt that way. He made it sound like it was just something he said in that moment. And the fact that he never owned up to his initial intentions made me lose respect for him. Their story is FULL of all the things I love. But those 2 instances took the story down a bit for me. I’m happy Aria was happy in the end.

the story that was long but got straight from the beginning

I like how they first got into it and the fight between the main twopeople I think it need more of that fight they have together ❤
