Take a few Princes, a couple of Wine Merchants, and a Wizard or two … then add a passel of Princesses, a Gypsy, some trolls and a host of other delightfully imaginative characters … be sure to make some of them nefarious, and some delightfully innocent … THEN develop an interesting, humorous at times, dramatic at times, but spellbinding at ALL times, ingeniously different and entertaining, fast moving plot, and you have the “The Man Who Thought He Was a Cat”, an amazingly imaginative, immersive, and completely delightful story! Ohhhh, I nearly forgot, you’ll need to toss in a heaping helping of ear pleasing, spot on perfect narration, and mix well! One thing is certain, Steve Mcelhenny has the perfect five star recipe! I loved every moment of “The Man Who Thought He Was A Cat”, and I want more! Please!

I like a Narrator with a sense of Humor!!

This book starts one part of the story then goes a completely different place and people and here is another part of the story. Though the Name of the book is "The Man who thought he was a Cat" Most of the book is about something else instead. Narrator does a good job and I enjoyed the sense of humor too!!

While listening to The Man Who Thought He Was a Cat, you will embark on a wonderful journey filled with adventure, magic, trolls, curses, and royalty. The story is fast-paced, unique, enchanting, and absolutely hysterical. I love how the author lets the characters develop naturally as the story goes on. The characters are relatable, especially the sarcastic banter that goes on between them. They say that every journey starts with the first step, and this book proves it. The narration was phenomenal as the narrator's voice poured out emotions that made me more invested in the story because he brought it to life.
I received this audio book for freecupon my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest, unbiased review because I believe this book is definitely worth listening to.

Fun & Witty

This was a really fun listen. I felt like I was listening to a fairy tale with fun, witty writing. The author did a great job spinning a magical tale, and the narrator did a fantastic job bringing the story to life.

Wonderful fairy tale adventure!

I thoroughly enjoyed The Man Who Thought He was a Cat by Steve McElhenny. Jeremiah Smith embarked on a journey to purchase wine for his father’s wine shop. Instead of the simple trip to the market town with a straightforward task, Jeremiah is detoured after meeting and helping two princes (one of whom is a frog due to an encounter with a bully wizard). Jeremiah helps his friends rescue princess, and meet a crazy troll, nasty sisters, tricky and evil businessmen and a gypsy who curses him. His life is changed in so many ways, but the curse that when he drinks alcohol he thinks he’s a cat is understandably devastating to a wine maker! I have to read the followup stories next! The narration by Sam Legg enhances the story. His performance literally gives voice to the characters and brings them to life. Listening to this audiobook is like watching a movie in your head. I highly recommend listening to this fairy tale! I received a free audiobook for my honest review.

This was a fun, fanciful tale of a vinter who can not drink wine without thinking he is a cat.This becomes a problem as he has to taste his product to sell it. It all began with an ancestro and a tipsy Jinn. I enjoyed it.Narration by Sam Legg was very good.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
