A very decent story for the fan
I really enjoyed the storyline, however, it was the narration that seemed to bog down the listing aspect of this book. in places it seem like there's no emotion when there should have been and some of the in action scenes seemed dulled out by tone. overall the story is good.

A Grand Forgotten Realms Adventure
This story has all the elements of a great Forgotten Realms adventure. Plenty of action, intrigue, mystery solving, humor, and the splash of evil undertones happening behind the scenes. I can't wait to finish the Lost Empires series!

Annoying Sidekick
I'm giving this 1 star overall due to the seriously annoying companion for the main character. It wasn't the performance, it was the dialogue for that one character. Awful. Excellent story, and engrossing. That bat was beyond irksome - the entire book would have been so mich better if it hadn't been able to talk.
