Wonderful

Best book I've read in years. Great story that is beautifully written. I was immediately invested in the character. Great storytelling!

Mesmerizing

This was a most enjoyable book that I didn’t want to end. Towles is a wonderful storyteller! I loved the setting, with the characters traveling to various states, towns, places. His weaving of the characters is fabulous, leaving the reader with such a thought provoking and rich experience. All of the narrators were wonderful too. This story could be made into a movie, although I’m sure it would not likely be as captivating as the book. I might even read it again sometime. Loved it… Bravo.

Another great story from Amor Towles

This unusual story kept my attention and thoughts, even during the times when I was not reading it. The characters are so well drawn and Eduardo Ballerini is just a wonderful narrator.
Gentleman from Moscow is another story, so different, that I still think about several years after reading it.

Beautifully written!

One of the top 3 books I’ve read or listen to this year! Beautifully written, lyrical to listen to. Couldn’t put it down. I found myself wanting to highlight quotes of truth and insights into the human condition. Art in the written word. Highly recommend!

Brilliant

The beauty of Amor Towles’ words were all the more enhanced by the superb narration. Even after 15 hours of listening, I did not want the book to end.

The story is so imaginative, and the characters so well written, that The Lincoln Highway is sure to become a classic.

Good, not great 4.30 stars

This is another good installment from Amor Towles. If I were ranking his novels, this would probably be third on my list, with A Gentleman in Moscow holding the top spot. If you like his other works, I'm sure you'll like this one as well.

Thoroughly engaging.

The characters are magnificent, the layers of the story exciting, the information gleaned from sub-stories so interesting. I loved every second of this beautiful book.

was so good , great characters, had my attention until the end but ending was disappointing.

Extremely well written and thoroughly entertaining

I didn’t want it to end….. just when you thought the story was going one way, the author takes it to another level and introduces another great character. The fact that the whole story takes place in only 10 days is hard to imagine.
