Too simplistic

As I listened, I was struck by how simple and often silly this audiobook was. The premise and plot details were shallow compared to the better “crime thriller” novels that are available. I enjoy the novels that clearly require the author to conduct research and include careful consideration of the plot angles. That’s what makes a thriller worth reading/listening to. You want something that makes you think and keep guessing, not something that is predictable and where every action occurs as a result of convenient occurrences. I would not recommend this audiobook to anyone and am disappointed that I wasted money on it.

Disappointing Ending

I really liked this book, but the ending was extremely disappointing. I guess I was expecting more of a surprise.

Good but not great

Entertaining, with some good twists, but not amazing… main character is very dumb. Narrator did a good job.

Kept my interest

I enjoyed this book. The story was interesting. Great twists! I plan ro read more of her books.
