not a lot of detail on Anne. I like reading about Anne from different perspectives and this Anne was just 2 dimensional. also they skipped over major events such as Anne's miscarriages and such.. It was ok, but not riveting🤷🏿♀️

Liked but had some holes
I absolutely could not stand the voice characterization of Ann, both Catherines and King Henry. All others were wonderful. Ann and little Catherine Carey sounded liked the narrator had a cold. Very annoying! As for the story itself, I’d very much like to know why the author changed the order of birth of Mary’s children and why she didn’t carry on the story through Mary’s life- only Ann’s. Perhaps a new edition with author’s notes???

This historical fiction fan loved it
Could writing the narrator was spot on and the story was intriguing. This book gave real life and personality to the people involved in one of the largest royal scandals ever.
