Very dark and sad

Most of these stories while well written showcase abuse, mistrust, and bad people doing bad things. Not an easy read.

Mixed bag

I wanted to like it. I have read the majority of Anne Bishop's stories several times. I just didn't like the majority of it.

Anne Bishop never fails to amaze me!

I’ve never been disappointed with anything Anne Bishop has written! She is by far my favorite author. Even these short stories are great!

Very short stories.

Stories were a hit or miss for me. I didn’t listen to the Black Jewel ones because the first book in the series did not appeal to me and I never finished it. I’m mostly interested in The Other short stories, the two that were on here were good, but I’m disappointed there were only two. Although I did enjoy some of the rest of the random stories. Warning: some of the stories are really dark, I had a hard time listening to Match Girl, it even had trigger warnings before listening to it in the audio. Narrators were good.
