really nice love story

This was a beautiful love story. LOVED Elliott and all the island people. The elderly characters from the retirement home were simply adorable and added a wonderful touch to the story. I got very frustrated with the Natalie character and the whole man-cation thing about 2/3 of the way in to the story but it ended very well so it's ok.

The heroin was a bit annoying

the main character was so annoying. He was very indecisive and almost immature. But I did like how the story ended. I'm a sucker for a happy ending.

Very Well Done!

Im a long time romance novel fan but new to the audible versions. Got this one free through Amazon Kindle membership. The story was a predictable romance, told very well, which im a huge fan of but what I enjoyed the most was the voiceover. The many different characters were believable and I felt a genuine connection to them all. Especially loved the Colonel.. lol. Great Job Lauren Ezzo

Enjoyed

I enjoyed this book from beginning to the end! I enjoyed not only the romance but the whole family dynamics also. Something that I usually never comment on is the narrator. This narrator is AWESOME!!!
