A wonderful start and great narrator
I’ve read a lot of paranormal books over the years and this one has a very unique approach for the genre. I love Sofie, James, Tina and Ben and the family relationship they made. It has many interesting twists and turns. I can’t wait to find out just what plans the man with the cane are and how he was able to sense Sofie’s abilities when she was a child. Now I’m off to read the other books in the series. Stormi thanks for such a wonderful book and start to what I’m sure is a wonderful series.

Great Story!
While the pacing seemed slower at times, this was a fascinating tale and one I definitely recommend! Stormi Lewis is an incredible talent and needs to get more out there!

Had me from the first line.
I am so glad I bumped this to the top of my TBR. This book feels like Alias, Doll House, and Dark Angel had a genetic perfect baby. Not a dark romance. I would place the adult activity is sweet and feels like part of the plot. Which for me is great in a story like this. Check triggers as always because there are some potential things. Over all great listen. I need book two tomorrow.
Freya’s voice had me from the words “ wake up Peanut.” Her pacing kept the urgent, tense, Aenergy of the story while not over powering the softer moments.
Stormi Lewis has created a heroin you can believe in and that you want to root for. From the first fight to the twist I am firmly team Sophie Lee.
I can’t wait for book 2

The narrator was horrible
I could barely listen to this book because of the narration. Every word, even ones like and, the, etc. were spoken in breathless tones, as though something was about to happen. It was exhausting and took away from the plot and characters which I did not think were that good anyway. Grade F.
