Inspector Nayland Smith has unearthed a plot that could mean the end of civilization as we know it. He's just arrived in London, chasing the greatest criminal mind ever to come from the East. But when he arrives to warn Sir Crichton Davies that he is in danger, he finds he is too late. Sir Crichton has become the first victim of the insidious Dr. Fu-Manchu.

As a glimpse into popular thinking of this time the story could be given a resounding 5 star listen.
However we have all manner of politically incorrect sentiments being expressed in this classic piece of popular fiction.

Where does The Insidious Dr. Fu-Manchu rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Not top 25, but top 100.Which character – as performed by B. J. Harrison – was your favorite?
Fu-Manchu. He brought the evil genius without making the man a one dimensional cardboard character.Any additional comments?
This is one of those books which are easier to listen to then read text. Harrison is the reason. The narrator brings the charactors to life.
