great listen

I very much enjoyed this story. my only fault would be that having read the first books and listened to this ine, I found the narrators voices distracting and maybe not appropriate to the cultures touched on

still loving these series

can't wait till the final one comes out! I devoured these.... ... ... ...

Best Book of the Series

So far this has been the best book of the series. Things are really cerebral and tactical which is awesome.

I can't help but love these books. I am happy to learn that book 3 is not the end.

Fantastic

Each book in this series just keeps getting better. The narration is also superb. Josiah Bancroft is a master.

Exactly what I’ve been looking for.

After my 3rd time through Neil Gaiman’s entire catalog, I was desperate for something that would transport me to another world like American Gods or Neverwhere. The Senlin Ascends books fit the bill and then some. I adore this world and these Characters-not because the author told me I should (if I never read another book about a plucky, independent girl making her way in the world it will be too soon). I liked them because I got to know them over the series. The tower itself is its own character-terrifying as it is, I kinda want to visit. I don’t know how I’ll wait for the next installment-I hope it comes soon!

Best series

This is one of the most entertaining series I’ve read/listened to in years. This was eve type of book that made me walk around the house ignoring everything else in order to finish

great story with an unfortunate muddled timeline

I love this series. it has a very unique feel to the writing, almost steampunk but with airy elegant prose and nice character development. sadly the author decides to muddle the timeline a bit, hopping between viewpoints to heighten the suspense, not a fan of that. still a great book and I have every intention of continuing the series whenever the next book comes out.

Imaginative adventure awaits

I continue to marvel not just at the crafty, witty prose but also the pure whimsical imaginative quality if this work. I can hardly wait for book 4.
