I feel cheated

We should have had an epilogue. Needed a little more of their story. Feels unfinished to me.

Iris is an enjoyable, sensible character

As I was reading this series, I was surprised to realize that this last book was not released. Then, the next day it was available, I snatched it up, and I couldn't help feeling auspicious about it. This book was very intriguing as Iris's whole family history was wrapped up in the plot. There were repeated attempts to kill these two and an unlikely cat to the rescue! In the end, all the mysteries are explained including the old duke's death. I was most impressed by the fact that Iris would not borrow money for any reason, even while waiting to receive this inheritance.

Epilogue

None of the books ended well, but the last in the series cries for an epilogue. The birth of Chase and ? ‘s baby, the marriage of Nicole and Iris,
Needs so much closure

Great series

I really enjoyed all three books of this series. Each story was different, but loved how the past characters were brought into the next story.

Good story

Liked the characters and the setting. Lacked having one good, physical love scene. Overall, enjoyable.

Weakest of the series

The mystery wraps up okay, if a bit lackluster. The biggest problem with the book is there is absolutely no reason that Nicholas should be so in love with or enamored of Iris. Yes, she is beautiful and independent, but her character is so one-dimensional that I have a lot of trouble believing someone like Nicholas would be so in love with her to want to marry her. Nicholas' character was a bit better fleshed out but he too lacked some depth. Iris lacked the dimension that both Minerva and Rosamund had in the previous books. Narrator was fantastic as usual. the only reason to use a credit on this book is to wrap up the mystery of who killed the previous Duke.

Books enrich our life

I loved it. I do wish there had been an epilogue since this was the end of the series. It
would have been nice to have the three heiress together with their husbands.

Abrupt series and book ending

As always I enjoy this writer and this series. However. I felt the ending to the book and series was a bit rushed and abrupt.

Excellent listen - great story

An excellent end to an entertaining series. While the story lines in all three books are very similar, each book has its own little twist. I really like that the heiress in each book is a commoner, In this book, the author did a great job of pulling together all the strings from the previous books. The characters in this book are rich in character, making for delightful dialogs. This will be a repeat listen for me...for sure.

Loved it!

I enjoyed the entire series and this last installment was just great! The interplay between the cousins, the heiresses and all the other characters was just excellent!
