Interesting Story

Although I remember this story from the news it was still a good book to read and get more detail. Like many others that have reviewed this book I agree that there was too much detail that wasn’t related to the main story. And I was disappointed in how it ended. Unlike all the other reviewers I did NOT like the narrator AT ALL. His way of reading/speaking bugged me.

Very unusual book about finding answers about yourself and your past. Good suggestions for anyone who's been adopted, and wants to find their roots.

This book keeps you on the edge...

This is a great book. I only care to read or listen to true stories. And this book was exactly what I hoped it would be. To hear Paul's journey in finding himself was both heart wrenching and magical. Not only for Paul to know who he is... but the people who reached out and helped him. Put humanity and kindness for others in perspective. I applaud each of them for there selflessness. I truly pray that one day we find what happened to the real Paul and Jill. And that Paul and his brother become close.

I enjoy true stories that are captivating, inspiring, and emotional. I was addicted to this book. You won't be disappointed!

One Man's Life-long Struggle To Find His Identity

This is a good story. It is full of struggle and the heartbreaking reality of what happened to Paul as a toddler. There are times of great joy and happiness for Paul too! This is a wonderful telling of his journey.

Truth is stranger than fiction

This story has amazing twists and turns that would fit in with any TV soap opera, but it’s a true story. I didn’t want to stop listening.

An incredible story, with equal parts detective work, scientific exploration, and a deeply personal inner journey. Very well narrated, with full range of artistic expression and emotion while remaining genuine.. In addition to being remarkably fascinating, it also tells a much more profound story of life. Deeply moving.

Crazy Story

Crazy Story, I cannot imagine what this man went through, but this narrator's voice is just horrible. Please. I only stuck with it because of the harrowing story.

Amazing story

All my favorites- adoption, DNA, mystery and bizarre human behavior. Glad it had a reasonably happy ending. Loved how things ended up with the parents.
