Fantastic !!

Read like a novel. I couldn't put it down! Full of fantastic tips and guidance !!

His story gripped me

As the author described his adulthood quest for answers it was like he relived the events and all their details during which he took me along as a guest in the front row . I did enjoy this book and when it was done i wanted more. . more by the author. . more by the narrator. .more similar books to keep me going.
The narrator's voice was perfect for this book's content. His speed, tone, and inflections narrated the story as i imagine it was meant to be.
I know I'll listen to this selection again, more than once probubly, and I do not regret this selection and purchase.

Interesting from start to finish

I was afraid this book might be rather dry. but it was anything but! I found myself anxiously awaiting the next chapter, or my next ride in the car. Although I was not adopted, I did get a surprise when I had my DNA tested. So his story also applied to my circumstances.

Masterpiece!

This book was hands down the best audible book I've purchased thus far and the narrator did a wonderful job. Richard Hill went to great lengths to share his story in great detail; making certain to captivate his readers. The moment I started this book I couldn't walk away from it. I found myself listening to it at work, in the morning while putting on my makeup and in the car. Not only was his story very inspiring; considering, I'm currently awaiting my DNA results; he also included a lot of helpful information for those of us not knowing what to do next. Thank you Mr. Hill for such a great book!

Excellent

I really enjoyed this book. It is well written, both in terms of the story itself and in making what can be a complex topic (genetic genealogy) easier to understand. The narration was also excellent.

Life does not always begin at birth.

author wrote of a life long journey which changed his and many others lives. As an adoptee his story honored his adopted and biological parents as well as their families.

Father is adopted and searching for biological family

With my dad being adopted and making an attempt to reach out to biological family this book had me hooked. Great read.

I enjoyed listening to how Richard found the true history of how he came into this world. Sometimes, I couldn't stand the suspense! If you are working on your family tree like I am, you'll thoroughly enjoy this book.
