On the trail of the lost Dead Sea Scrolls, archaeologist Daniel Knox stumbles upon a theft in progress at an ancient temple near Alexandria. Then a senior Egyptian archaeologist is violently killed, and the finger of suspicion points at Knox himself. To add to his mounting worries, his partner Gaille Bonnard is kidnapped while showing a television crew around the ruins of Amarna. She manages to smuggle out a message, pleading with Knox to rescue her, but he's locked in a police cell on suspicion of murder hundreds of miles away. His only hope of clearing his name and saving Gaille is to crack one of the greatest unsolved mysteries of the ancient world...before it's too late.

Any additional comments?
So, I got this after finishing the first book which I enjoyed, despite a few production issues that I mentioned in my review. I was looking forward to this book but after finishing it, I just have to say that I'm pretty disappointed. It's obvious that you have to suspend your disbelief when getting into these kinds of books. However, this took that to the extreme. The coincidences of this book were just way to convenient. After Knox finds a previously unknown site, the images just happen to link to a King which creates a city where a secret tomb is hidden that crooked cops just so happen to have recently found part of, and the area where Gail is bringing people to film, and is subsequently kidnapped and held hostage in that area and uses the images from that unknown site to clue in Knox where she was located. This is just the most over arching coincidence. There are a ton of other smaller ones. Honestly, I finished it out of principal and would only recommend it if you have a credit to use and there's nothing else out there. Not as good as the first.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Exodus Quest to be better than the print version?
I have not read the complete print edition.Would you be willing to try another book from Will Adams? Why or why not?
Yes, I have already enjoyed "The Alexander Cipher", which I liked a bit better.Have you listened to any of David Colacci’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I don't think I have, but I did enjoy his performance. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The hostage scene seemed to be terrifying realistic.Any additional comments?
I did not care for the attempt to portray the pharaoh Akhenaten and Moses as one in the same.Daniel Knox strikes again
