This story was as good as Lovecraft Country! I loved revisiting my favorite characters. HBO messed up when they got rid of this show.

Long Awaited Return

I loved Lovecraft Country and I loved this return. Hopefully more to come one day.

Less Lovecraft

I really dug Lovecraft County. This sequel was not quite as good. Same characters and their stories moved forward. The story was just not as interesting.

An excellent sequel

I absolutely loved this book. I did love the first book more with how the story was delivered almost as short stories that all flowed together, but this was one of the best follow ups to a book as amazing as Lovecraft country is. The pace and development was perfect. never a dull moment.

Great sequel

Great sequel, although the change in pronunciation of Hippolyta made me want to yell “Hi-PAW-lit-uh, not Hippo-LIGHT-uh!” every time I heard it. Ha!

The story line 👍🏾

More details on each person & a origin story. The look of each person would be nice as well but really good read. 👍🏾

Loved this return trip to Lovecraft Country

The original book is easily my favorite and most listened to audibobook. Kevin Kennerlys narration was fantastic, then and now so great to hear him voicing the Berry's and Turner's again .

I got through the story in 2 days, just wanted to know what was next, and was not disappointed.

I'll definitely be listening to it again soon. If you loved the first book, you'll definitely enjoy this one.

Action packed and full of wonder

The book follows the strange and wonderful path of sci fiction and fantasy!
I'm waiting on the next installation!

I’ve read live craft country and when this came out I just had to read it I’m hoping he comes out with another

Body swaps you

I've never come across an author who can so effectively place me into a character's world and perspective. The poor feels a bit soft, but that may be because I finished Wheel of Time before reading this.

All in all it's a fun read. Deals with the horrible reality of being black in America, without seeing over to Blackspoitation or racism porn.
