When a palace maid is attacked, Josie and the captain of the guards investigate together. Listened to this series while driving 3,500 on vacation with my husband. He actually got quite interested in the series himself! Haven't found a C.J Archer series I don't like yet!

It says a lot when the second book in a series is even better than the first (which I enjoyed a lot). The main characters and the side characters are all very well done and not just two dimensional. I really can't wait for the next book to come out. The narration was once again awesome with really good male and female voices.
