Magiere, Leesil, and elven dog Chap are continuing their quest to find the powerful Orb of Air. But they are not alone. this was a really good book I enjoy having constant flashbacks to see what happened to Winn's companion

The last two books were tedious as Win is ridiculously annoying, but I didn't want to miss the story of the dhampir and company. This finally stop focusing in Win and gives the back story of what happened to orb 1 and 2. It was a little hard to follow because of all the flashbacks, but it filled in much that had been skipped over in the previous book. This books biggest theme is what happened amongst the elven community. good story.
