Rushed ending
After such a long and complicated saga, to have it end this way is less than satisfying. Several loose ends. The final battle seemed really *small*. There were some clever parts to be sure. I do like the characters they developed, even though IMO they ruined Magiere over the course of the series. It is as if the authors wanted to be done with this so they could move on to other projects.
The narration was top notch. Some of the difficult names were pronounced differently from the way I had them in my head. I understand the reader consulted with J. C. Hendee to get them right, so I have no complaints. Good job.
