Amazing storytelling, hell of a cliffhanger!

I enjoyed everything about this story, from the writing to the performance of the narrator! Any woman who experienced the "purity culture" of the Christian church, among other forms of religious abuse, should read this book. I can't wait for the next installment!

The characters are wonderfully written

The story is believable and enthralling. I loved the characters. The world is built very well. Very enjoyable.

Absolutely captivating!!

This story will grab you from the beginning and it will have a chokehold on your psyche until you’re finished.. and then it will ultimately become a siren’s song that pulls you back in for a second and third read!! It’s mesmerizing and filled with all of the lusty, mystical moments that you’ve been craving! Bravo!

Loved it!

This was a great book! I can’t wait for the next one! It is steamy without going overboard and I thought the story line was really interesting.

Frustrating FMC

I really wanted to like this more. It had promise but the FMC is annoying and frustratingly slow on the uptake.

Entertaining read

Story jumped around a lot in the beginning to build the character. Was little hers to keep up but it got better as you listened along

Mythology and Smut

What more could a chronic inhabitant of fantasy realms ask for? Great book for everyone who’s fantasized about how they didn’t belong in this realm. Bonus points for religious trauma.

I love the inclusion of the different mythologies and can’t wait for the next book!

A captivating story with Myths and Fae, I loved this book and can't wait for the next one to come out!!!

A deeper than normal mythology story

I would recommend this to anyone who hasn’t been accepted by family and loved ones because of who you are (especially because of religious trauma). It perfectly balances the complicated feelings of being proud of yourself for all you’ve done and still holding the shame deep inside from what people have told you. The main character is over the top and obsessed with their love interest but I think it fits well with their backstory of trauma and clinging to someone that accepts them for everything they are.
