THE DEAD COLD SERIES

This is an excellent series. This is a four book boxset. There working on cold cases. Detective John Stone and Carmen Dehan. All four books grabbed my attention at the start. I loved how John and Carmen worked together. I give each book a five star. John is older with a lot of experience and Carmen can hold her own in any situation. They make a great team. I will continue with this series. There is a lot of books in this series. Also more Boxsets. Adam Grupper does a great job narrating this book. The stories are interesting and the box set is a great value. I finished 1-4 now I'm going to listen to the 5-7 series.

Excellent stories and great performance.

Great stories, I can’t wait to listen to the next title by this author. I highly recommend these titles The author is clearly not American.
No American says “air con”
An American would give distance in miles yards or feet not “meters”. What is a “lock up” I’m assuming a storage unit. They are also not anything an American would envy.

However, I couldn’t stop listening because the stories were compelling. The performance top notch! I will definitely read or listen to more from this author. I thoroughly enjoyed all the stories

The writing of the characters are excellent. Enjoyed the story’s. Check it out yourself, you won’t be disappointed!

Dead cold books 1-4

Great stories and narration. Relatable characters. Will read all 26 books for sure. Enjoyed all the books, moved quickly and kept me interested for whatever comes next.

I listened to the whole series

so this rating is for the series as a whole. I love this genre. But had come to the conclusion that I'd listened to everything good plus a lot that was bad, and anything else I listened to would just be
repeats of the stories I'd already heard. New names, new characters, same old stories. So I was surprised and happy to find this series. I feel like Mr Banner tried harder to put together interesting protagonists and unusual stories instead of just re-writing the stories that r out there. He also does a good job with the romantic relationship. Some writers just kill off the woman in a series to avoid having to do the relationship thing, but he does it well. The narrator is good too.

EXCELLENT Series

I'm on book 3 now. Books 1 and 2 were excellent, and 3 is turning out to be the same. Believable storylines, fast pace, interesting characters and great narrator. Unlike some of the reviews, I was too caught up in the story to look for inconsistencies in details - no glaring issues for me. The box set of 4 books is a great bargain. If you like books read by Tom Taylorson, I think you'll like Adam Grupper. Very similar voice. Does a good job with the various characters and accents.

Great voices, story moved along so well no down gaps.

Very entertaining no outlandish shootouts. Enjoyable characters with a touch of personal tension. All four stories were well written.

Awesome Listen

This was my first time listening to a Blake Banner book but I loved it so much that I have already purchased the next book in the series. To be honest when I started listening I thought that it was going to be a return the only reason that I kept listening was because it was a box set for 1 credit. I am so glad that I kept listening, by the 3rd chapter I was hooked.

Good plots

Enjoyed whole series. Good plots, good narrators. I will add next set to my listening list
