This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... Great story!
I have gotten to know the folks in Dorsetville and will miss them very much. All of the books in the series tell stories of faith and triumph of the human spirit.

Excellent Narration
What made the experience of listening to The County Fair the most enjoyable?
John McDonough's narration of course.
What other book might you compare The County Fair to and why?
The prequel of course. (A Miracle for St. Cecilia's)
What about John McDonough’s performance did you like?
He has a great voice and a good sense of timing and drama.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
No.

I thought this was supposed to be considered an "inspirational" book. "Recorded Books Inspirational" "Dedicated to stories of faith and the human spirit." This is what the introduction to the book says. So how can you (the publisher - not Audible) classifiy it that way when a couple of times in the book, God's name is taken in vain - yet the author uses alternative slang for other curse words like heck and darn. Except for those curses, the story was ok. Not as good as the prequel.

Good series except for this one with the language
Is a feel-good sweet series. The story lines are farfetched and I am not catholic, but love happy endings especially attributed to the workings of God.
This last book in the series has a few instances of language that are totally unnecessary and unacceptable so this last book is my least favorite in the series. In my opinion, the first one is the best.
Narrator did a good job, but sometimes you can hear him swallowing and sometimes he mispronounces words and a lot of the time the voices all sound the same, but overall an okay job.
