Really good

Excellent narrator. I really loved these books. I shall be following this author in the future.

Very Good Variations and Talented Narrator

I really enjoyed 4 of the 5 stories in this collection. The reincarnation story was good, but just a bit odd and confusing - still it was well written and had interesting scenes and characters. I re-listened to the other 4 stories immediately after I finished the set. Rafe Beckley is a very good reader and I enjoyed listening to him. I will be relistening to this this set. Kudos to Harriet Knowles.

Didn’t see it coming

I have been a devout Jane Austen fan for decades. I have read a lot of variations, but I didn’t see these storylines coming. It broke my heart and made me believe in real love, again. I highly recommend this collection.

Five in One

I liked this series. Getting all five stories in one place was nice. The stories were told well and very different one from the other. I enjoyed the narrator. I will look for more from this author.

Great collection

I finished this collection of 5 audio books in 5 days. Great read all of it. All very different but all equally good. It made me laugh many times I highly recommend this to all Jane Austen fan fiction readers. Great Jaff.

Wonderful Variations

I really liked the different variations of the Talk Dark and handsome series. The narrator read very well! This has become one of my favorite novels. I highly recommend.

An excellent value

So for the price/credit for one book you actually get 5! Refe Beckley is a fairly new narrator in the JAFF community but he is doing an excellent job bringing the characters to life. For each of the stories I like them in varying degrees and it depends on what mood I am in on which I prefer. For the five stories you will experience attempted compromises, kidnappings, twins, soul mates, hidden secrets, and courageous individuals. Out of these books my favorite new character is Henry in "As a Moth to the Flame". I look forward to future book sets by this author & narrator.

Very good collection

I was very pleased to see Harriet Knowles enter the audiobook market. I’ve enjoyed reading many of her books and to now have them available on audio is great. Rafe Beckley has done a marvelous job with the many character portrayals and performed them very well. This collection provides plenty of satisfying listening pleasure. I’m looking forward to the next promised collection.

These were well written and a nice group of stories with well thought out and inventive variations.

Fabulous Set & Great Bargain

This box set contains five full-length P&P variation novels. Each one is a gem but I especially loved the last three books. This is an amazing bargain and so worth the credit. The narrator did a wonderful job bringing the stories to life.

My one and only little, tiny nitpick was the continual sighing of the characters. It’s probably from listening to so many books in a row but by book five I was cringing each time a character sighed. It’s a small thing and should be easily overlooked for the quality of the stories.
