Eye opening
I stumbled upon this book trying to find books about how to fix my marriage. Both my spouse and I are children of alcoholics. This book pointed out some hard truths. Things that I do things that he does. The things we sabotage, themes we tend to recycle over 30 years of marriage. Finally at a point where I just can’t or don’t want to live like this anymore. But I could not seem to recognize my own thoughts or reasons why we do what we do. This book was of tremendous help to identify so many actions I do automatically without thought. It just is. It must be. I now recognized that I am not alone. Suicide is not a solution. I am not alone. One day at a time.
