Great listen

I learned a lot. Not to mention it was entertaining the entire time! I really liked the variety of topics that were presented in an intelligent way. The narrator was also great. Totally recommend.

Interesting, informative and also entertaining

The author is an expert in her field and it shows. I learned so much myself on the brain and cognitive function it was worth listening to the book if it had stopped there. The stories about children she has helped were inspiring. If her system was implemented by school systems it would make a huge difference. The education system in our country is in such bad shape children are lucky to get any sort of an education and if they struggle like I did they may have lifelong learning difficulties. I really enjoyed that the author is a life long student also and is as enthusiastic about learning as she is about teaching. Everyone should listen to this book if they are involved with children in any capacity.

I enjoyed this audiobook because it was not a typical story you had to follow along with. Instead, the author of The Collective converted a variety of her published articles on things she is passionate about into an audiobook. The common theme of this book is ways to improve the brain and boost your memory, certainly tips we can all benefit from in this digital age where we are relying too much on devices to store information than our own minds and become more forgetful.
