Love hurts.

First, I have to start off by stating that I got this book free of charge in exchange for a review, but as I always state, this does not in any way impact my review. My reviews are always honest and my own.

I am a big fan of time travel adventures, through literature classic and modern, to the movies, so was more than happy to read this, and I was not disappointed.
A very clever story, with great pace, lovely, relevant romance, and well-rounded characters, there was some disconnect at the end as lessons did not seem learned, but I quite liked this as an original ending, to most blockbuster novels.
Clarke was a protagonist to root and care for, The villain wasn't a cardboard cutout, and the various relationships handled very well.

The narration was top notch, her pacing great and kept me wanting to listen.

Definitely would recommend this to time travel fans and new to the genre.

Fantasy of time!

Clara aka Clarke is trying to correct a mistake in time, made by her sister. The Flashbacks within the story, can be a little confusing at first. It is a Story of suspense ,betrayal ,love and adventure! It will keep you guessing! I enjoyed this well written fantasy of time. The narration by Vivien Swain is excellent. Each character has its own personality and she brought each one to life . I recommend it, if you like fantasy books. I was gifted this audio in exchange for my honest review.

An interesting story

Not a time travel book in the typical sense. A fantasy involving time and the clock keepers. A romance, The book left you wondering what would happen next. I would read other books by this author.

The narration was very good. I would listen to another book by Vivien again.

Great book

I really enjoyed The Clock Keeper. The audio performance was great and the story was just as awesome as I've come to expect when listening to/reading works by this author. On to another by Melissa Delport!

Such a great story about time travel

If you like time travel, this is the book for you! I love this story so much. Actually, I read it on my Kindle last December, and then I listened to it on Audible this December. It's one that will grab you right away, and you will wonder how it will end. Will it be sad? Will it be happy? Guess you should give it a listen to find out!

Different

The first thing that attracted me to this is the blurb. The cover does not do the book justice. When I first saw it I thought this was another time travel book and I by passed it a few times. I kept seeing the book so I decided to read the blurb and I found it to be intriguing.
I am so glad I decided to listen to it the book did not disappoint, it is different, well paced with twists and turns.
I would highly recommend it!

The Clock Keeper

Clarke Kennedy finds herself in love with a street rat, Fletcher, that her father does not approve of. But she is so selfless she finds out her sister Anna loves him too, so she pushes him to Anna. Clark and Fletcher are the best of friends, but no one outside the families is allowed to know about the Guild. The time has come for the next family to send someone to watch over the clocks and this time its a Kennedy family member. I love that this story takes place over a 100 year span and feel for them both, trying to figure out how to end it. Sometimes we should just learn to talk things out! I really enjoyed the story and it moved at a fantastic pace that made it hard to put down. I enjoyed the narration as well. Vivien Swain really brought the story to life. I also love that the author uses big name families for the story!

The Clock Keeper

This was a really good start to a new series. I got thru this book in one sitting. Very interesting storytelling and a great idea all the way around. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
