Meh

this book had some very creative and interesting ideas but it barely did any world building and makes readers assume instead of being brought into the fantasy. The characters also all sounded the same which made it harder to become immersed in story.

I loved the idea and some content through out this book. However, the writing style and narration were not for me. I almost dnf’d. It was still a good story, but not what I was hoping for.

Absolutely Unforgettable

Attention Fantasy Lovers:

I love reading new authors. A debut book often sparkles with new ideas or fresh and imaginative ways to revisit and retell old tales. I just finished The City of Stardust by Georgia Summers. I will be thinking about this book for a long time. When it comes to world building the author has painted the scenes so vividly I feel like I could walk alongside many of the characters.

Following this books goddess, I believe Ms. Summers should create her own Pantheon. I would read each future tale with the same hunger with which I devoured this.

Interesting story with beautiful language

Narrator was excellent to listen to. The pace fit the words. Story itself was unique and intriguing, but I found myself wanting more. The end, though wrapped up nicely , left me feeling unsatisfied.

Continuous excitement.

From the story line to the characters and the narrator’s voice, everything was great about this book.
