I want you to see what I’m going to do to them…

There are so few one couple book series and mafia ones are my favorite. Set in Paris. And we get action in this one. I’m so here for it. It was also nice to get a bit more Luca, and the slow rise of their ship is progressing nicely. I can’t wait to see what’s next!

Please put all the books in one novel

I love Penelope sky, but I’m getting tired of these 24 chapter short novels instead of her just putting it all in one huge novel just makes sense to me… it’s a cute story. It’s a good story and I think she’s gonna give him hell for what he’s done and it’s a good summer read… wish all of this particular series came in one book instead of us having to buy 4-5-6 different books. It’s ridiculous.

FMC is Fleur, a woman who is trying to move on with her life after a bag marriage and falls for a Mafia kind of man and is scared of his world and of giving him her heart
MMC is Bastian, a bad ass drug lord, and ruler of Paris, he is a little unhinged but only when it comes to the safety of Fleur and other women, he makes his drug empire better by paying people to work for him instead of trafficing women and forcing them to work for him, that's what his father did and he killed his father because of it and made the work and job better, and u don't fuck with this guy, and he falls hard for Fleur

FMC has lots of insecurities about giving her heart to another man, a similar man of her ex husband.... because he destroyed her and cheated on her so much, but she does, she falls for the MMCs too

but she is scared, he is dangerous
the most dangerous man in Paris
she is so scared she dumbs him even before they really started
but she comes back, he forgives her
but she had every right to be scared of his world
he made his fathers business better but it's still dangerous
one rule u never break is no harm to women and or children
well his friend and business associate broke that rule and kidnapped Fleur all to get back at her ex
the so called friend didn't know Fleur was Bastians girl now, so he took her to hurt Adrian....fleurs ex
bad idea because now they have to deal with Bastian
he ends up killing the man and biting him and hanging him off of Notre Dame
you don't mess with Bastian or his women

Love the story

I love this story, my only complaint is how short these books are. Drive me nuts. It makes me not want to buy them. It’s so short I can’t help but feel ripped off. However the story is so good that I continue on the journey. I just wish the author would extend the length of the book instead of stretching the material to more books. I normally don’t really do books less than 40 chapters and this is why.

Bastian is a not someone I’d mess with.

It’s wild that the first two books take place within a few months. I’m glad there’s more action in this one though it was slow until about 65% then it really took off. The story is building well. I’m interested in how this will be another two books given how book 2 ends. We shall see. The events in this book were way more than book 1 so that was refreshing. Fleur is getting better but still has her moments of annoyance. Bastian is amazing. He doesn’t sugar coat who he is. Very take it or leave it kinda guy which is nice compared to Fleur’s role in this story. Overall this one was better than book 2 so we shall see what book 3 has.

This could have been 1 book

This series should have been 1 book, MAYBE 2. The narrators are excellent and what I most enjoy about Penelope Sky audio books.

Amazing!

I seriously love this series! Especially the last few chapters. I was on pins and needles with that ending and ugh I need the next book NOW! The next book is going to be so good! The first book was good, but didn’t have as much craziness as this book and I’m sure the next one will be even crazier. I liked the narration, the male narrator doesn’t really sound how I picture Bastian’s voice would be, but I overlook it because I love the story.
