Another great book

I love Robert Bailey's books but having Eric Conger narrate was just icing on the cake. Eric Conger could read recipes and I would listen to them. Awesome story and I couldn't put it down.

Riveting storytelling

I loved everything about this! The writing, the plot and the narrator. My first time reading this author and it won’t be the last!

This should be a movie

We loved this book! It kept our attention every step of the way with its many twists and turns and surprises.

Great story!

I never write reviews but was compelled to write one for this book. I eagerly await any books by Robert Bailey, they are all good. This one is his best for sure. The story is not only engaging, it is exceptional. It is totally plausible in today’s world and well worth a credit!!!

The story held my attention all the way through. Disturbs me that I don’t doubt that some of it might be true.

I don't understand why he (not to spoil it) left the family. I was engaged from the beginning..

Gripping thriller, fast paced and emotional

Although it’s cliché to say, this was absolutely an edge of your seat thriller. Super interesting concept and very well done. Would make a great series on Netflix or other streaming service. Excellent character development despite some cheesy dialogue here and there.

A New Summer Fave for Me

Well told, great listen- perfect for a 2700 mile car trip- Loved the story really peaked my interest and make you wonder..,,

I read alot of different genres, just to mix things up. I'm 63 yo and a lifelong reader.

I have to say that it's rare that I give 5 star reviews on any book, but when i do, i mean it. Most books are mediocre, maybe poorly written or edited, especially contemporary writing, but if the story line is interesting I'll try to read it. THIS book was well written, with a great storyline, edited well, well rounded in action, family, friendship and politics. I even cheered a few times. And I wouldn't doubt for a minute that every word is true. Every. Single. Word.

I think I caught one timeline issue regarding the Boomerang but I didn't search back to find it.

Fantastic read! Requesting a Part 2!

Twisty political drama with a side of action, love triangle and deeply flawed but likable characters thrown in. I need to know though what happens to them all after the plot twist(s). Would love to see these characters in a Part 2!
