Resumen del Editor

You can run a better business with these simple words of wisdom.

What if you could remember nuggets of business wisdom like lines from your favourite songs?

Is it possible to condense a smart business idea into one memorable line that makes it unforgettable?

Blogger and marketing specialist Russ Hughes thinks it is and has built two successful businesses doing so. Get business insights to inspire, challenge, and motivate. Aimed to help you run a better business, but hold tight; there is no hanging around!

If you want to give your business a boost but don’t have the time to read an entire book on one subject, then this book is for you!

Can you identify with one of the following statements?

You want to run a successful business and want to find fast ways to improve performance.

You want the benefits without necessarily having to read the entire book.

You are easily distracted and are looking for quick ways to learn important lessons that can help change your business for the better.

For those who didn’t make it into a top business school, or for those that did and found it really didn’t help.

You have a pile of unfinished self-improvement books and don’t want this to be another.

If you can answer yes to one or more, or possibly all of the above statements, then this book is for you.

The Book I Thought I Didn’t Need to Read

As an audio professional, like most, I stumbled into the business without necessarily planning. I’ve always known I needed to consider the topics and ideas covered in Russ’s book. I didn’t even realize how truly important the subject is. This book puts things plainly into perspective and relates them to my line of work. I wish the book had been around 30 years ago. Then again, Russ illustrates how quickly change can come about and the book has inspired me to reassess my approach to the business side of what I do. It’s a side too easily ignored but this quick read has given me some new ideas to incorporate and make my own. Perhaps Russ’s dad was right andwriting the book wasn’t a good idea… while Russ’s dad was still alive. Now that he’s gone, in a way, it appears to have been a good idea—maybe not all along but surely now.
