Secret past romance. 1POV. HEA. Standalone.

This is a Sexy, troubled past love story. The sort is set in a small town in Nebraska. Maisy is a single mom, and owner of the town’s motel. Hunter is a stranger that is “new” in town and he has been infatuated with Maisy since the first time had had seen her. Hunter checks into her motel and the couple fall in love. However there is a secret that Hunter is keeping from Maisy bc he knows if he tells her, she won’t want to see him again. Usually I get annoyed at past secrets bc most times they are blown out of proportion, but this secret is pretty big. Unfortunately I gave the story only four stars bc when Hunter was ready to tell Maisy, he hadn’t had the “opportunity “ for a whole month.

Narration is pretty great!

The HEA was pretty fulfilling, it was set 7 years in the future. Although this is a standalone, there are other books in the series. Overall is was a pretty easy listen.

Breathtaking

This series was one of the best I’ve read/listened to. I have fallen in love with every one of these characters and I’m heartbroken that it’s over. I want to live in Jamison Valley and find my own happily ever after, among my new friends. Devney Perry weaves these tales and it makes you feel like you are right there, experiencing all the highs and lows right along with all of these amazing characters.

I also can’t say enough good about these audios — all 5 of them. The narration is top notch and I’m now a forever fan of Aiden Snow. Superb narrating!!

Wonderful Story

I could not put this book down!! I love this couple and everyone else who makes an appearance in this book!

Maisy and Hunter have such a wonderful story that will keep you guessing until the very end!!

These two will make you swoon and fall in love right along with them!

Pickle love

Another superb small town romance from the coffers of Devney Perry. Prescott, Montana has a restored The Bitterroot inn managed by Maisy, sister of Beau & Michael. In walks Hunter Faraday, stealing ehr breath away.
Loads of secrets that fill the chasm between them, which Hunter wants to cross over but once bitten, twice shy Maisy is very reluctant to bridge over.
And then there's the question of vulnerable Coby. He's the love of Maisy's lief and all her decisions are made to shelter him from the inevitable emotional storm headed his way.
It was super sweet, heart melting story with mild twists and turns thrown in.

So much love

I enjoyed this story, as well as this series, immensely. The author has an amazing talent and the voice actors were phenomenal.

No bitterness here

This was my absolute favorite book out of the series! I loved Mazie though out the whole series and was anticipating her story. The story is centered around The Bitter Root Inn, Mazies hotel. Hunter is the new dr. In town and takes up residence at the hotel till his house is finished. Mazie is dealing with flashbacks of the night she killed her son's father and is still struggling years after the indecent. Hunter wants to break down her barriers but he harbors a secret that he knows once he comes clean she won't be able to forgive. This was the perfect ending to the series. I love Devney Perry and her stories.

Another fantastic installment

If you haven’t read any of the Jamison Valley stories then you’re missing out. The story content, the family dynamics, and the heat are just a couple of notable attributes. Devney has a gift. When you read her stories you become invested in their lives and outcomes. Loved Hunter. He really stepped up for Coby and Maisey in a big way.

I have to admit I was worried, the last 2 book were just ok for me. But I LOVED the first 2 and well I was invested in this series so I had to see how it was going to play out.

I am so glad I took the leap this book is as good as the first two in my opinion.

Maisy is a favorite of mine and someone I wanted to get her HEA from very early on. I am kind of glad she was the last book because she had time to grow as a character and we got to see it. Her book is everything I hoped it would be and more.

I loved Coby, he was the cutest little kid ever. I am a huge fan when authors add kids into the mix and not only that but when they are rooted in the story and not thought of as a side character.

When we meet Hunter you just have this feeling that he is going to mend Maisy’s heart and she doesn’t even know it yet. What hooked me was the way he was with Coby and you can feel the love he has for him right away.

Sigh so glad I listened to this book and the narration… Oh, it will sweep you off your feet. Fantastic choice in the narration.

Awesome

Maisie has overcome so much - she’s raising her young son and she’s running her business. She’s never really addressed what happened in her past. But she’s happy. Along comes Hunter and he challenges what happy looks like, and her son really loves him. Is it time to think about taking the next step?
Oh my. I love Maisie! You’ll love her too!
