Perspective shift

This book was a big perspective shift. It talked about how most of the negativity we have in our own lives is not from what other people tell us, but from what we allow ourselves to believe. Wow, it really shifts the blame away from others and puts the responsibility squarely on our own shoulders. But I think that's good. I don't want to live my life as the victim, I want to live as the hero of my own story. And heroes have responsibilities. And this book provides practical steps for changing negative thought patterns and increasing self-confidence.

This book is perfect for anyone who wants to improve their life and doesn't know where to start. It highlights generating positivity and allowing yourself to see things through a different lens. Self-love, self-acceptance, self-awareness, and self-respect are vital qualities that we should constantly cultivate. We must overcome previous stigmas of money and embrace it. It encourages us to have at least one accountability partner to help us stay on track. I feel rejuvenated and ready to continue inculcating positive habits in my life to reach my goals.

Just what I needed right now!

If you are experiencing a bit of overwhelm and feeling scattered (yep, that's me, raising my hand), this book can help get you back on track. The author gives some great (gentle) kicks in the butt to make you see what you are doing (or not doing!), along with very useful and actionable strategies to set and reach your goals. I personally appreciated the sections on comfort zones and limiting beliefs, as those topics really resonate with me right now. There are so many great reminders in here that I could go on and on. Instead, I hope you listen and get as motivated as I am right now!
