An Audible Original multi-cast adaptation of Agatha Christie's acclaimed classic, The ABC Murders, starring Peter Dinklage as the legendary Hercule Poirot.

Hercule Poirot and Arthur Hastings reunite for their most difficult case yet. When Poirot receives a letter warning him that a crime is about to be committed by the writer: 'A.B.C' the friends find themselves in a race against time to decipher the killer's twisted logic as he taunts the great detective by announcing the next murder location alphabetically. With every new killing a new pool of suspects is uncovered.

First is Alice Ascher in Andover, whose abusive husband has a shaky alibi. Then the flirtatious Betty Barnard is murdered, leaving behind possessive fiancé, Donald Fraser and jealous sister Megan. Carmichael Clarke is the third victim, a wealthy man whose ambitious secretary, Thora Grey, or grieving brother Franklin, could be suspects. All the while, the mysterious Mr Cust makes his rounds through England.

Can Poirot and Hastings unmask the killer before a final letter seals an innocent victim's fate?

Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) returns as Agatha Christie's famous detective in his most beloved outing, with Himesh Patel (Yesterday) reprising his role as Captain Hastings. Also starring Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games), Lydia West (It's a Sin), Ben Hardy (Bohemian Rhapsody), Rahul Kohli (The Haunting of Bly Manor), Joel Fry (Our Flag Means Death) and Sian Clifford (Fleabag).

Produced in Dolby Atmos, the production features an original score by Johnny Flynn.

Enjoyed it thoroughly. Dialog is a little modernized in places, but the whole thing is very well done. Slightly darker than the original novel in tone but otherwise a very faithful adaptation and very true to the original overall, without any unnecessary plot changes. I personally Liked this one better than the Dinklage "Mysterious affair at styles". That was also a reasonably faithful adaptation, but the darker tone did not really suit that story as well. This book is much better suited to the tone of these adaptations. i hope they do some of the other Christie novels that have a darker tone If they're going with this tone, because this is actually a very good cast - for instance, "Appointment with Death", "Peril ar End House", "Five Little Pigs" or "Murder on the Orient Express". one word of warning to listeners- be careful with the volume though because some of the background music comes in a bit loud unexpectedly once or twice.

Darker but accurate. would love to see some of the other darker Agatha Christie books adapted by this cast.

Another job well done to the cast for delivering another fantastic performance. The ABC Murders is one of my favorite from Agatha Christie and I’m happy to hear it today .

A great rendition of one of best Poirot stories ever written.
