Installing agile tools and practices won’t be enough to respond to rapid market change unless you lay the groundwork with six key enabling factors, identified by the United Kingdom’s leading agile consulting firm, Agile Centre.

An ever-growing pile of frameworks and tools falsely offers an “easy route” to organizational agility. However, responding to rapid market change requires you to alter so much more than just your way of working. Your work style is only one of six factors that the Agile Centre’s research identifies as the key to success. From years of experience certifying people in agile leadership, product ownership, and scrum mastery, Karim Harbott has created a model that will help your organization achieve all six factors required for success: leadership, culture, structure, engagement, and governance as well as ways of working together. Drawing from Harbott’s famous Business Agility Canvas, this audiobook will help leaders get realistic about the scope of the changes needed in their organization and show them how to get started.

This book is full of powerful insights that, if implemented, could help so many organizations/companies truly work and function in agility! I literally put off finishing the last chapter because I didn’t want to be done with this book, but now I’m thinking that I’ll just have to read it again and see see if I can recruit others to read it with me so we can discuss it! :)

The secrets to an organization truly being agile!

Harbott’s book is the best explanation of both Business Agility and the challenges of successful organizational change I have seen. He brings to the fore that all agility really is organizational change and then gives a framework for making change that will allow a company to compete in the new digital age with the new tools and challenges that exist.
I’ll be buying the print book to supplement my audio edition.

Like glue connecting the pieces of the fragmented strategy of business

A deep dive into where we’ve come from as businesses, where we are, where we’re headed, the need for agility, and how to organizationally achieve it. Consider it a recipe and play by play for success sprinkled with real world example and anecdotes to support ideas. I truly believe this is the business framework embraced by all for the future. Agility is to the future as Taylorism is to the past. Thank you, Karim for the wonderful insight.

An incredible insight on the future of business
