The editing was bad. Chapters in audible did not match the audio files. Some parts repeated. And there were some audio errors.
Despite those things I learned great concepts that I'd like to implement and will definitely revisit the book.
Great concepts. Editing was not good

If you could sum up The 40 Hour Work YEAR in three words, what would they be?
Enjoy life. Make money. Do deals. What did you like best about this story?
The author's systematic progress to create a company that can run without him (the owner). I also appreciate him sharing his motivation, focus, and lessons he learned along the way. This book has a lot of gems! What about Tom Zingarelli’s performance did you like?
Excellent performance. Reading is very clear. I can listen to it in the car, and understand what he's saying. I can also listen to it clearly at 1.5x speed. What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?
You want to plan your company that it will be able to run without your active involvement. Inspect what you expect. Make performance criteria independent of people. Make your company ready to sell.Any additional comments?
Everytime I listen to it, I get ideas for own business. I would recommend to get a hardcopy too, since the author uses a lot of lists (all with very good items!). You would also want to do the exercises, and to write notes about the progression of your own business.Listen to this over and over again

What made the experience of listening to The 40 Hour Work YEAR the most enjoyable?
1st off, it was short. I listened at 3 times the speed, went for a drive, and had finished to book by the time i got back home. Every bit of this book was to the point. What other book might you compare The 40 Hour Work YEAR to and why?
To me, it blew away the 4 hour work week, because it was not about hiring virtual assistants and skipping emails. It was about building a company that is truly better without you. Building systems and inspecting what you expect. What about Tom Zingarelli’s performance did you like?
I liked it a lot. At 3x speed he sounded very clear. What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?
The business is better off without me working in it.Any additional comments?

The 40 Hour Work Year offers interesting, actionable ways to work more effectively and efficiently. It's directed towards entrepreneurs, so folks with corporate jobs *may* be more limited in their ability to apply the book's recommendations. That said, I'm a firm believer that everyone should "think like an entrepreneur" and thus can learn from the concepts in this book. More than that, I found this to be an inspiring read... it offered fresh perspective for thinking about one's work and strategic approach.
I recommend The 40 Hour Work Year for anyone currently in the work force, or preparing to join the work force. Retirees may also find the concepts helpful if involved in volunteer efforts.

Would you listen to The 40 Hour Work YEAR again? Why?
Yes, I have listened and read this book 4 separate times. That doesn't include the many times I have referenced it as a guide while working through different mind set shifts in my business! - I highly recommend this book for the Job owners / entrepreneurs that is coach-able and teachable. If you are not, then I would recommend you go back to your job. What did you like best about this story?
Each Chapter is not a chapter, but a mindset shift! It doesn't matter were you are in your business. You will relate to each chapter! What does Tom Zingarelli bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He draws me in as a listener! I don't want to fall asleep because of how he reads the book. His voice goes up and down and gives vivid images to your mind as you listen. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
What really moved me in this book was the understanding of how valuable values are in a company! Our Values Govern our decision making. This book taught me this and was explained in a way that made me understand exactly what to do. Or at least have a really good idea on the direction.Any additional comments?
This book is for someone that doesn't want to recreate the wheel of business and just wants to start enjoying the fun part to an entrepreneur's life!Do you OWN a JOB or a BUSINESS?
