Great story

I enjoyed reading Talon, book 4 in the Four X's Group series. This is a series of interconnected standalones that can technically be read in any order but this is one I'd recommend reading in order.I enjoyed getting to see Talons story, and I thought the teasing between him and his brothers was super funny. I liked the bond between Talon and Petra, I thought they work well together.

I am looking forward to reading the next books in the series.

Exciting and suspenseful!

I really enjoyed this one. I feel like there could’ve been more background on Petra since the story began with her being chased but no backstory. The chase scene was a bit far fetched only because Talon was cold to the bone even dressed for the extreme cold with boots and all but Petra was barefoot and her leg was bleeding so I assumed it was exposed as well so I’m not sure how she survived without freezing to death before rescue. However, if I put those notions aside I became thoroughly absorbed into the book! I especially love the family aspect of the series and how close all the siblings and in laws are with each other. Narration was great! Overall a very good romance with a lot of tactical lingo and field operation scenes which always amps up a good military romance.

Talon

Book 4 of The Four X's Group: La Spezia story of Former Delta Force Operator Talon McKinley and Petra Keller. Now that’s an action adventure that audible did justice to. The danger and drama kept me guessing what was happening why were they after Petra. The why is sad and pathetic if you ask me but the justice Talon gets is page turning good.

Good but

I probably liked this book the least. Petra I just couldn’t get into. And her backstory is non existent almost. I wish it would have went into her a little more. This book just didn’t seem to flow and mesh well like all the others did. But all and all still a good book!

Loved this one

Talon is feeling guilty after he could to stop his brother from getting hurt, he leaves the compound in Italy and does back to his old unit, taking a re-qualification in Finland. What he does not expect to find is a woman, who has been beaten, bleeding and shoe-less, she is not giving up. Talon takes out the men following her, but that is not the end of things. Someone who she rejected is determined to make her pay, Talon and his brothers bring her back with them to La Spezia. Form there the brother dig into the person responsible.

As with the others in the series, this is high action and plenty of heat between the main characters. The narrators bring the story to life.
