Its a nice story
Its interesting seeing what happed after the war, and aftermath of the Great Beasts sacrifices, through the eyes of new characters protrayed at main characters. It sucks that we only get to meet one of the hero gang and not the whole gang - no spoilers as to who we meet. But all in all i liked it and am eager to find out what happens next!

So disappointed
No middle. No ending. All set-up.
Which is how I feel: set up. I just paid the price of a full book for what I feel was a cursory introduction to the story, not the story itself. To me, that breaks the covenant between writer and reader.
