Bought the second book in less than 5 minutes after finishing this one

Heroine who keeps her wits about her, magic, sexy vampires and intriguing politics. The spice adds to the plot and only made the story more intriguing. I absolutely love that the heroine isn’t dumb in love and doesn’t lose sight of her plans.

New Shannon series!

Fantastic start to a new series- amazing characters and storyline. Shannon’s stories always have a way of pulling you in- and this one definitely has you cheering for the heroine. Action, Adventure, Dark and sexy vamps and shifters- sign me up for #2! I can’t wait!!

This book sucks you in from page one….

I didn’t know what to expect from this book, we didn’t have a lot of plot information before reading.

However, I should not have worried… Everything Shannon Mayer writes is EXCELLENT!!!

This book is new, exciting, hot, and has the potential to be one of my new favorite series.

More Than Just A Girl

It was a good story but it seemed a little too smutty. The actors were good and Edward was a devious character you loved to hate. Dominic was a nice suave on the cast of characters because he knew how to work around Edward. Except for the end.

loved the book!

I really liked the storyline and the characters. The only thing that slightly bothered me was the male narrators voice. I don't know how to discribe it. it has a vintage comic book narrator feel. I didn't mind it for the other characters just not for Dominic.

My only issue is it left on an stupid Clift hanger smh. Just purchased book two tho. These should be put in one trilogy.

Couldn't put it down!!!

This book is so amazing it's labeled a romance but it is way way more!! So think Buffy and Spike thrown into ball gowns trying to survive a set of games!!!

Great start, wonderful world

I really liked the way this new world is built. The tension between Sienna and Dominic is on fire from the beginning. I do expect lots of twists and turns to follow after this great introduction. I hope I can get my hands on part two soon.

Amazing first in series

Wow. Just wow. A new series from a favorite author. I couldn’t stop listening. It starts with the main character letting herself get caught in a trap, but things go sideways from there. This book has it all, great characters, sexual tension, vampires, werewolves, and more. This series hooked me from the first chapter and I can’t wait for more.

spicy and interesting

This is honestly the kind of fantasy and naughty book I've been looking for! it recreates the feelings I had reading Twilight in my youth but much better written and more for the adult mind. great job! I can't wait for the others.
