I discovered this author when I selected the first book of this series in Audible Plus.

Now I’m buying every book in the series. Characters well developed - a complete lack of fluff - I loved this book!!!

Awesome story with the perfect narrator

Point blank (first book in the series) was good. Take down is amazing. The best book I’ve read this year, and I really like books. Just get it already.

Great Book, Bruh! LOL

Exciting story with great characters, and fantastic narration! After listening to the first book in this series, I knew I'd eventually go on to the second book. I'm glad I did so! This book was better than the first. It was pretty exciting but I got so sick of the slang word Bruh. I know it lended credibility to the characters but it was annoying as hell.

The characters were great and was able to visualize.

Loved the storyline , good story and a lot of action and suspense . I will be following this character.

TAKE DOWN

I don't usually bother with a written review but I really enjoyed this book. The story and narrator came together in a perfect combination. Audio books have two major components: story and narrator. A good narrator can boost a mediocre story but a good story rarely helps a terrible narrator. Those you just read yourself. Anyway! This book is well worth a credit. I will be waiting for the next installment of Mason Sharpe. It was a thrill.

If you like Jack Reacher then here’s another series worthy of listening to especially while crocheting/knitting!

Now this is a WONDERFUL SERIES!!!!

Take Down is the second book in the Mason Sharp series. I would suggest listening to Point Blank first for background. I enjoyed PB so much that when i saw this book was available I snapped it right up and actually quit listening to another book 1/2 way through (I will continue with it when I’m finished with this book) so I could listen to this one.
Anyway, Mason is kind of wandering around. His fiancée was murdered and he’s a lost soul. After leaving the police department in Arizona he headed to North Carolina where he was supposed to honeymoon. After solving a murder there he moved on to Atlanta, Ga. There a teen boy tries to steal his truck. Mason can’t help himself. Instead of calling the police he wants to find out why a smart kid is getting himself into trouble. He soon learns the boy’s brother is in prison for killing an undercover DEA agent. He’s convinced his brother was set up. Soon Mason agrees and with that knowledge he has to stay and see this through to the end. He’s not the kind of man to turn a blind eye to an injustice.
Andy Ingalls does a fantastic job narrating.
This book has my VERY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!!

Hooked on this series!

Former Phoenix PD homicide detective, and Army Ranger, Mason Sharpe is on a road trip to visit places that once made his deceased fiancee happy. A stop in Atlanta, leads to Mason tangling with a powerful gang and a Mexican drug cartel. Lots of action!! Looking forward to the next book.

Plot

The plots of these books are so good! Mason Sharpe is like a cross between Peter Ash and Jack Reacher.
